Sony Ericsson W595 Will Be Unlished in Less Than Two Weeks
Well, another great release of July 2008 is waiting just round the corner, the slider newcomer between Walkmans. It’s the new Sony Ericsson W595. It is also known under the codename “Linda”. This one has taken a lot from the C905 Cyber-shot, and from the similar last year model W580. Their inheritance is evident in design and positioning in the market. Sony Ericsson W595 will replace W580 in the niche of reasonably priced smartphones with absolute majority of options one might need.
Sony Ericsson W595 will run its functions on the branded software platform A2. Not much of all the functions are yet known, but anyway we are insured to see Walkman player 3, Google Maps, possibly GPS, 3D accelerometer, FM radio. Only by first spy-photos we can judge about W595’s dimensions. By sight, “Linda” is a little bit bigger than W580 and so is the display of W595. It will most likely have 240 x 320 resolution.
Such a way Sony Ericsson is aimed to repeat the success of the W580 model. No reasons to doubt its potential so far. But there are very important features to be installed into this gadget, so Sony Ericsson W595 could really become a bestseller. Those that we don’t know are Internet speed, overall productivity of the Sony Ericsson’s A2 operating system and the number of body color versions. W580 was popular for six color schemes so W595 will probably also be presented in different colors. Seems like more information about this smartphone developers are going to uncover only after it appears in the stores.
