Motorola GLAM XT800 Dual-SIM Android Smartphone
Motorola has introduced another high-end Android powered Motorola GLAM (XT800) Smartphone with MOTOBLUR social streams that runs on Android 2.2 FroYo operating system and featuring 5.0 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording capability. Motorola GLAM XT800 is the first Android smartphone that offers dual-SIM (GSM+CDMA) with dual-standby capability supporting GSM 850/900/1800/1900 in SIM-1 and CDMA 800/1900 in SIM-2.
Motorola GLAM runs on Android v2.2 Froyo version with MOTOBLUR user interface which is Motorola’s Android-powered content delivery service, which organizes messages and synchronizes contacts to keep conversations in constant motion. With MOTOBLUR user interface users can navigate and organize their messages, happenings, news, apps and widgets, like never before.
The new Motorola GLAM XT800 smartphone’s sleek touch-screen design, combined with great navigational features such as pinch and zoom and a touch pad, as well as the inclusion of Adobe Flash Lite, make browsing the web on its 3.7-inch high-resolution display a breeze. Subsequently, one user name and password brings back contacts, messages and connectivity to previously configured networks and email providers.
The Motorola GLAM XT800 smartphone is Dual-SIM with dual standby capable device supporting GSM 850/900/1800/1900, and CDMA 800/1900 networks in SIM1 and SIM2 respectively, and handset is powered by 550MHz Texas Instruments OMAP3430 processor running Google’s Android 2.2 operating system and offers clear telephonic calls using dual microphones and noise cancellation technology. Featuring a large 3.7-inch 16 million colors capable, 480 x 854 pixels FWVGA capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla Glass display the Motorola GLAM is equipped with Accelerometer sensor for auto screen rotate, Proximity sensor for auto touchscreen disable while engaged in call, and Digital compass.
The Motorola GLAM XT800 smartphone comes with 256MB internal RAM along with 512MB of ROM and allows up to 32GB expandable memory via microSD card slot allowing practically unlimited contacts and SMS records. Supporting SMS/MMS/EMS the Motorola GLAM XT800 smartphone also features Email software supporting corporate (Exchange), Gmail, IMAP, POP3, attachment and browser document viewer including Microsoft Office and pdf, HTML email composer.
