LG has today launched a colorful and vibrant LG GM730 Windows Smartphone, which features a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen and is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system with LG’s S-Class user interface optimized for smartphone.

Originally announced in Auguest 2009, the LG GM730 smartphone has modern design with sleek curved sides and is tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 along with tri-band 3G HSDPA 900/1900/2100 network ready handset that runs Windows Mobile 6.1 professional operating system with LG’s S-Class UI optimized for smartphone.

Lightweight and the perfect palm fit, the LG GM730 smartphone for data connectivity offers GPRS, EDGE, 3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA 2.0 Mbps connection, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP wireless connectivity, WiFi 802.11b/g wireless LAN, in addition to microUSB v2.0 port for wired connection and recharging.

With Email client and onboard SNS, the new LG GM730 windows smartphone allows users to stay in touch with their social lives 24/7, with dedicated Facebook, Twitter and MSN clients. The LG GM730 features an advance 5.0 megapixel Auto-focus camera with Schneider-Kreuznach optics, allowing maximum 2592 x 1944 pixel still image resolution and has video recording capability. The LG GM730 Windows smartphone does NOT features a 3.5mm jack and also includes build-in GPS with A-GPS support, FM radio, JAVA MIDP 2.0 support, Social networking integration, Audio Media player, Video player, MS Internet Explorer 6.0.
